Why join a small group?
The goal of joining a group is to grow in your walk with Jesus around people who can support you in taking your next steps. We believe life is better when you live in community. Men’s, Women’s, Married, and Coed groups are available. We want to help you find the best fit.
At Church in the Son, we are passionate about building relationships and sharing the love of God with the communities surrounding us. That’s why we desire that everyone would get involved in a Small Group and invite friends, coworkers, and neighbors to their small groups and special events. Our Small Groups are a vital extension of our larger corporate church experience and meet throughout the great city of Orlando and surrounding areas. The Small Group environment fosters a more intimate setting to connect with people like you, to hang out, pray, and get to know each other as you grow in your walk with Christ.
Small Groups are an opportunity for close discipleship, as you study together, ask questions, share insights, and hear each other’s stories. You will experience genuine community as our groups incorporate a strong relational aspect. Close bonds are formed as you experience life together. We believe in not only being hearers of the word, but doers! You experience close personal relationships and support through your Small Groups, however, our dream would be that everyone in the body of Christ would be inspired to give back to our community. Church in the Son provides many opportunities to serve through our campus ministries as well as various special outreach projects throughout the year. You know as much as anybody that it’s important to be connected. That’s one reason you’re part of Church In The Son. We know it’s hard to connect with others and build lasting friendships. We know that even defining community is tough because being in community is more than showing up for Bible study. It’s also sharing food, laughing till it hurts, and doing what you love to do with your favorite people. What if you could help more people find and enjoy that kind of laughing, caring, and growing community?

- How often do Groups meet?

Groups meet on different days and times throughout the week. Some choose to meet every week, bi-weekly, or once a month.
When you click “Find A Group” you can see details on the day, time, and how often each Group meets.
- Where do Groups meet?

Groups meet in homes, restaurants, and coffee shops all across the greater Orlando area.
- Is childcare provided?
-
Not all Groups offer childcare, but there are options available. Make sure to let us know if you would like to join a group with childcare. Some groups will have participants share responsibility in watching the children, split the cost for a sitter, or make other arrangements.
