Roots I

Growing deep spiritual roots.

In the parable of the sower, Jesus talks about people who hear the same message of the gospel but have different outcomes. The ones that understand the Word, and form roots, are the ones that prosper. Roots I is a 4 week course for those who are NEW to their faith or simply need to strengthen their roots.

DIG DEEP – FORM ROOTS – GROW SPIRITUALLY

Sundays at 9:30am in Room 102

We would love for you to join us in Roots I. Each course is comprised of 4 sessions. Each session meets on Sunday morning at 9:30am in room 102. On the first Sunday of every month we begin our course with session 1, but you can jump in at any week. There is no cost or need to register, simply show up ready to grow spiritually.

What is Roots?

Simply put, ‘Roots’ is a series of 4 classes designed to create a strong biblical foundation for your faith to grow on.

Who should attend Roots I?

Roots I was designed for anyone looking to lay a strong foundation for their spirituality. This class helps you understand what we believe and why we believe it. Most of our attendees are brand new to their faith or are looking to build on what they already know.

Do I have to attend Roots I classes in order?

No, you do not need to attend Roots I classes in order but we do recommend it. The material builds on itself so it is very helpful to attend consecutively.

Do I need to register to attend Roots I?

No you do not need to register, simply attend and bring a friend!

Do I need to attend Roots I in order to get baptized?

The Church In The Son leadership team asks that everyone getting baptized attends Roots I first. This is so that you have a complete understanding of your faith and the purpose for being baptized.

Where does Roots I meet?

Roots I meets at 9:30am on Sunday mornings in room 102. This is the classroom to the left of the elevator in the kids wing.

Do I need to bring anything to class?

We recommend bringing your Bible and your questions! A workbook, pen, and lite refreshments are provided.
